IRLP and 900 MHz Repeater

The Bennett Hill station has a 33 cm band repeater which provides a link to the Internet Radio Linking Project (IRLP) network. The IRLP network has many access points but one is via the 33 cm band. Our station is typically connected to the New England Amateur Radio 900 MHz Network. Visit the near900.com web site to learn more about the ham community working the 33 cm band.

The 900 MHz repeater is connected to a Raspberry Pi computer which connects to the internet via a cellular connection and provides the link to the NEAR900 network. Although our Raspberry Pi is normally connected to the NEAR900 reflector on the IRLP network, you can temporarily connect to any of the reflectors located around the world. You can find more info on the IRLP network at irlp.net.
