Anyone want to restore something like this?

It did work years ago when I powered it up.

I’d give it to someone to fix. I should probably ask at least 25$ though.

For Sale Tips on Buying and Selling Used Ham Gear

Tip #1: Radios currently in production – buy new.

Tip #2: Consider buying a used amateur radio model that is no longer in production.

Tip #3: Having all the original packaging and accessories increases the value of your radio when buying or selling.

Tip #4: If you can, see the used equipment before buying and try it out on the air.

Tip #5: Be an informed buyer

Tip #6: Know what you want ad don’t want.

Tip #7: Have someone you know who is knowledgeable and experienced in buying and selling equipment, especially if you are a new ham.

Hamfests are a great place to pick up interesting pieces of equipment. You can buy radios, both new and used, and also pick up a lot of unique items you may never find anywhere else. When you go to a hamfest give yourself a budget. Don’t be afraid to walk away if you don’t see something in your price range. Buyers remorse for spending too much is worse than the feeling of letting something get away. There’s always the next fest.
